Super Bowl Sunday

So, my school has a RIDICULOUSLY long break so I'm going back to school OF COURSE Super Bowl Sunday. This is a pretty big deal because the Super Bowl has always been a big deal in my house and now I'm telling my parents that a day that they'd like to dedicate to good food and football has to be spent on sending me back to college. I think they might disown me. And to make matters even more AMAZING, my little sister's b'day is the same day I start classes for the Spring semester. omg... what is happening here?!?!

Here are some things you want to find out about a possible college BEFORE you get there...
  • Academic Calendar - Schools typically have these on their website. This will tell you when you have breaks and when you do lovely things like start the semester. I really wish I would have thought about this beforehand.
I thought I'd be typing more, but realized "Academic Calendar" pretty much sums it up. When I applied and got accepted into my school, I did not consider ANYTHING. It was pretty much: OH! People say this school is good and it seems nice. Um, yeah... DON'T DO THAT. Find out when the school has breaks because, otherwise, like me, you may run into this situation. What college has 1.5 month break?!?! Mine, seriously, this is seriously one thing you want to look at before you choose your school.

The Basics

College 4.0 is a blog dedicated to helping college students (like myself) make it through college with as much preparation and as little stress as possible. I am writing from the perspective of a college student on a budget.

The first few entries will cover the basic of college life, such as what you need to bring, why you need to bring it, and how to buy it.

Good luck with college life and I hope you enjoy my blog!

Comment if you like an entry! Thanks!!
